Bob a Job Week!

27th May 2016

Forest School Update - After a highly successful 'Fund the Forest' week helping older folk in the community to tidy up their gardens and also litter pick all along the road side and paths, many local citizens commented on what a marvellous site it was to see children positively engaging with important national strategies such as 'Keep Britain Tidy'. It has been lovely fostering a generation of children caring for the world's environment and helping the people in their local community. As it happened we were also given donations by passers-by who were so impressed to see such smiley faces as they proudly walked along litter picking. The £116 has been put to excellent use as we have purchased five tents enough to sleep a whole class of children! Watch this space as the Year 2’s may be the first to have an 'in house' sleepover. A big thank you goes out to every child throughout all the classes for making this so successful. Watch out for the next offering of help in July. Mrs Watson.
