Micheal Rosen is an absolutely fantastic poet, who loves to share his work on Youtube. This one is one of my favourites mainly because it reminds me of Mr Perkins. However, if you click on his picture at the bottom of the video you can find all of his wonderful videos. Why not record your own version of one of his poems? Or write your own poem about a teacher you know and send it to them!

Reading Theory
This free website gives children a piece of text to read and then a set of multiple-choice questions. If they get the questions right, it will make the next text slightly hard, if they get them wrong, it will make the next piece of writing slightly easier - how cool is that!

Oliver Jeffers is offer free craft resources
Oliver Jeffers, who was the whole school focus for this year's World Book Day, has written and illustrated some fantastic books over the years. Recently, he has launched a free crafts section on his website focusing on the characters from his stories. I am sure some of the children from our Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes would love to explore these.
