Breakfast and After School Clubs

Changes to the School Day

Breakfast Club FAQ's

  • When and where does it take place?

The breakfast club uses our Community Room. It starts at 7.30am  and continues until 8.35am when the children join their classes for the start of the school day. Parents are asked to hand their children directly to the breakfast club staff at the start of breakfast club . They should then leave promptly as for safeguarding reasons, leaders cannot have additional adults in the room.

We also provide a free breakfast club which runs from 8:15am to 8:30am . Children are provided with bagel.

At the end of the session younger children are taken to class and handed over to their class staff in person. Older children can make their own way though the school to class.

Breakfast club provides a calm, friendly start to the school day for the children. Children can choose from a selection of cereals, toast and fresh fruit, and can have a hot or cold drink. The meal is served in the same way as our school shared lunches with adults and children sitting together around a table to share the food.

As children finish their breakfast, staff provide a range of quiet calming activities that enable children to talk with friends and gradually get ready for the school day
