Vision, Ethos, Values & Aims

Countess Wear Community School Aims

At Countess Wear Community School we are committed to supporting all aspects of children's development, including their moral, social, emotional, spiritual and academic development. We ensure that all children receive a broad and balanced curriculum, valuing all subjects in the National Curriculum. We ensure that pupils have opportunities to learn about faith in a way that promotes tolerance and harmony between different cultures and religions.

We strive to remove barriers for children so that they can 'be everything that they can be'. Through all areas of learning, we help children to develop the qualities and attitudes that will help them to move successfully on to the next stage in their lives.

Our aim is for all members of our school to be safe, ready and respectful for learning every day.

Through our school values and expectations we encourage our children to be courageous, considerate, curious, reflective, resilient and resourceful.
